MIssion Bay is a waterway in San Diego, a picturesque area perfect for weddings. Michelle and JR’s wedding ceremony was not only by this beautiful bay, thanks to the Hyatt Regency Mission Bay Spa And Marina – but their reception took place near another body of water: the pool area of a gorgeous private home! We complimented their venues with reflective clear features – like crystals hanging down an acrylic chuppah. We also wove in tons of white to create this light and airy wedding design. The ceremony featured the stunning chuppah, accented with not only lots of clear crystals, but a rich adornment of orchids along the top. Clear chiavari chairs perfectly complemented the acrylic chuppah. The reception featured... Read More

There is no more modern a look than a crisp black and white wedding. Dale and Nick wanted this palette at their wedding, allowing us to play with different materials and shapes to bring lots of visual interest to their design. At the ceremony space, we attached sprays of white roses to white metal stands, giving a dimensional look to the end-of-aisle decor. The chuppah echoed this black and white wedding look, too, with more open-air stands with clusters of flowers throughout. Another standout? The gorgeous seating chart in black with white script, and surrounded by more gorgeous clusters of white flowers and tons of candles. In the ballroom, black draping played off of a glossy white dance floor, and... Read More

Calamigos Ranch offers a whimsical, pastoral venue for weddings. Jessika and Adrian married among the dreamy trees and hanging lights in the Pavilion ceremony space; then, guests partied among nearby carnival rides and under Calamigos’ elegant tent. Our round ceremony structure, decorated with white roses, served as a dramatic backdrop for the couple. The natural mix of white flowers and greenery continued through the cocktail hour and reception space. We dressed the fireplace mantel with lots of gorgeous flowers, and moved the ceremony backdrop to the reception space to add visual impact to the sweetheart table. The Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic is an annual event in Los Angeles featuring a real live polo match set against a breezy, elegant backdrop of cabanas, tents, and lounge areas. Of course, the famous Veuve Clicquot Champagnes were flowing, for a perfect, sparkling day for all. We collaborated with the brand to accent the event with clever displays, like the sprays of roses and flowers designed to look as if overflowing from a bottle of rose Champagne, or the massive cluster of live orange roses above a painting of an urn. These playful images wowed attendees and truly brought the spirit of Veuve Clicquot to life for this jaw-droppingly gorgeous event. We created several more unique elements to show off... Read More

The Beverly Hilton features not only the ballroom where the Golden Globes and other prestigious events take place, but gorgeously neutral ballrooms for special celebrations, too. Aleen and Anthony chose one of these ballrooms for their very own prestigious event – their wedding! Gleaming gold was everywhere, from the glossy dance floor to the cutlery to the chargers. Our all-white floral palette aligned perfectly with the golden luster. We installed hanging roses and orchids above the dance floor, and garlands and cascades of white roses unfurled off of guest and sweetheart tables. Large centerpieces provided a backdrop for the cake, too, giving the room another indulgent focal point. The final touch: tons of flickering candles encased in clear class. Get... Read More

A winter wedding has its own unique and stunning appeal – especially in the mountains of Aspen. Little Nell served as the venue for Arielle and Caleb’s absolutely gorgeous wedding, a collaboration with the amazing Mindy Weiss and her team. To echo the snow-covered horizon of the ceremony space, we built a chuppah covered with fluffy white baby’s breath, and another white-floral arch leading back to the dinner and dancing space. The all-white theme continued in the reception, with tons of white orchids hanging from the ceiling and classic white rose and orchid arrangements lining the tables. Dramatic white draping with generous garlands of white flowers shrouded the entryway. Catch all the glamorous magic below, in photos by James x... Read More

Draping a ballroom can set off the space with instant high impact. For Marina and Anthony’s wedding, sage green draping made all the difference. This shade of green is a soft but stylish color that offered a perfect counterpoint to the white and pink reception decor. We designed floral garlands, tall centerpieces, and bridge pieces of mauve baby’s breath, pink roses and dahlias, and white phalaenopsis orchids. Glossy white tables, white carpet, and upholstered white chairs let the pink palette of the flowers truly shine. The floral decor stood out even more against the sage green background. Accenting the tabletops were smaller arrangements and bud vases of roses, dahlias, and hydrangea – and of course, tons of candles! Photos by... Read More

Jewel tones bring a deep vibrancy to an event, an unexpected bold vibe. Flowers come in so many gem-like hues, that for Jamie and Rusty we had a ton of options to work with. We focused on pinks, reds, and purples, with accents of blush to keep the look from seeming too ‘heavy.’ The Oaks Room ceremony space at Calamigos Ranch features a natural-looking arch that we decorated with lots of pink, purple, and red flowers as well as greenery to impart a loose, organic feel. We also decorated a chuppah to stand underneath the arch, adding lots of greenery along the posts. In the reception, loads of flowers accented every space, including the fireplace, along the tables, and cascading... Read More

For many weddings, the wedding chuppah is the first thing guests see and presents an opportunity to make a big impact with wedding design. Most importantly, the chuppah is an important symbol of Jewish weddings. We try to make every chuppah special and unique, and for Nicole and Mateen’s Saddlrock Ranch wedding, we created a large, lush structure to shelter the couple and their family during their wedding vows. Tree trunks supported the chuppah, and each corner held full greenery and flowers; the chuppah looked as if it were created by four trees. We collected white wildflowers at the base of each ‘tree’.’ Natural florals lined the white catwalk aisle for a cohesive, organic look. We added gold accents to... Read More

Lush, extravagant greenery surrounded guests at Therese and Danny’s wedding at Vibiana. From arches all along long tables to adorning Vibiana’s beautiful altar with garlands of greens, the space turned into a wondrous garden oasis. We created lovely white rose and greenery compote pieces for individual tables, as well as garlands of the same mix of florals for the long tables, tippling over into luxurious cascades. The couple took great advantage of the space by setting up lounge areas. In the cocktail space, we created compote pieces for cocktail tables and crowned a fun backddrop with florals and greenery. For a dessert lounge inside, we draped the bookshevles holding desserts with more greenery. Take in all of this whimsical, gorgeous... Read More
