Designing primarily with one color brings big-time impact to a wedding. For Kalina and Omeed’s luxurious Ritz Carlton Laguna Beach wedding, soft blush pink became the go-to shade for the reception, reflected in just about everything in the room: the upholstered chairs, our floral arrangements, even the draping along the walls. We lightened the ceremony with lots of white, including the aisle pieces; touches of blush added dimension to the wedding arch. Inside the ballroom, we crowned long tables with tall bridge arrangements dripping with white phalaenopsis orchids and blush roses, as well as lower arrangements for round tables. Blush pink ruled the day at Nadeea and Dux’s wedding at Terranea on a sunny, mild October afternoon. For the ceremony by the ocean, we created a frilly combination of orchids and roses on Terranea’s pergola. White chairs and a glossy white aisle provided a crisp counterpoint to the lightness of the flowers. We also oversaw the chic charcoal-black seating chart which held a champagne coupe for each guest! The outdoor ceremony location at The Ritz-Carlton Laguna Niguel has one of the best views in Southern California, and Katie and Ryan wanted to bring the outside in for the reception portion of their event, too. From a sumptuous overhead installation of greenery and orchids to the whimsical stage backdrop, the fresh elegance of the seaside ceremony continued inside the ballroom We created a refreshingly loose and pretty green and white arch for the ceremony, filled with ruscus, white roses, and hydrangeas. This intimate celebration was packed with personalized, chic style. From the deconstructed wedding ‘arch’ to the overhead drifts of orchids and greenery, Jon and Valeria worked with us to create a one-of-a-kind event design at Nobu Malibu. The colors ranged from bright white to soft peach to a pretty blush. We used cherry blossoms, roses, and orchids to create a rich yet light look. Tons of orchids and greenery hung over the dining table, complementing the beachy blue-and-white china and blush-pink glassware. Classically composed clusters of roses and pillar candles also decorated the table top, with one rose tucked into each napkin. The chic and romantic reception vibe was created using an all white design approach. We created stunning tall centerpieces complimented by lower arrangements on neighboring tables to add dimension and variety to the ballroom. Mirror-surfaced tables, crystal candelabras, and glass vases paired with gold accents on chargers and candle holders completed the glamorous vibe. Through florals, we echoed this look using beautiful white roses with premium orchids, using both phalaenopsis and dendrobium. Earlier during a sea-view ceremony, on the contrast, we combined the wooden texture of the pergola and chairs with organically styled blooms, branchy detailing, and greenery. We truly believe that each wedding should reflect the couple and their lifetime of love ahead — it is so magical, one-of-a-kind, and absolutely incredible. For Jon and Valeria, we created elegant outdoor decor in the heart of Malibu. The goal was to emphasize the natural beauty of the seaside view and let the stunning setting be the focal point of the evening. The ceremony structure was a completely unique separated arch created from two asymmetrical, grand floral pillars with beautiful white cherry blossoms branching from the top.
