A chuppah truly feels like a canopy with lots of ruffles of orchids hanging from above, and that’s exactly what Talia and Jacob wanted for their Lombardi House celebration. The chuppah stood on chic mirrored legs for a modern accent, and we lined the aisle with more pretty white flowers. Taking place during the pandemic, this intimate and joyous event was a perfect example that bigger doesn’t mean better. What we focused on is adding volume where we could – like the lush and generous fringes of orchids on the chuppah, and an overflowing ceiling installation of even more orchids in the reception venue. Keeping the color scheme mostly white for a fresh, romantic look, we added touches of blush... Read More

The inspiration behind the design on Emily & Dylan’s special day came from the couple’s desire to have a rustic, yet whimsical and romantic feel. Given the natural beauty of Calamigos Ranch, it was simple. Blending soft floral notes of light pink and ivories with a variety of airy greens beautifully dressed up the already charming area. The couple exchanged their vows under a beautiful chuppah draped in delicate pink chiffon fabric, adorned with roses and lots of wild greens. Candle lanterns with floral bouquets lining the aisle, along with the on-property rock waterfall as the backdrop created a magical look. In the reception, our team continued the natural and romantic mood in each tablescape. Incredibly lush, low centerpieces designed... Read More

It was a warm and intimate wedding filled with details that were equally elegant as incredibly special. Taylor and Fey exchanged vows under a towering arbor teeming with flowy, romantic blooms and lush greenery at Rancho Valencia. White urns filled with organic florals sat on either side of the aisle, creating the most charming entrance to the “I Do’s”. For the following reception, our team created an alfresco upscale garden party. Defining the space, as well as adding to an intimate vibe, the tall wooden cabanas that framed the dinner were draped with white sheer fabric and adorned with gorgeous crystal chandeliers. The layout was a combination of long wooden farm tables featuring both low and tall floral arrangements to... Read More

If ever there were a perfect example of a romantic and glamorous wedding, this affair would be it. Using a floral color palette of clean whites and soft greens, along with mixed accents of clear, gold, and silver, the setting was both polished and stylish. Baby breaths, orchids, and roses adorned the stunning chuppah that graced the stage of the grand ballroom. Across the room, guests were greeted by clouds of flowers that embellished the stairs at the entrance. Elegance exuded from the phalaenopsis orchids and long stem roses hanging from luxurious centerpieces throughout the space. Pillar candles secured on top of the long floral bridges added a hint of magic. Katie Beverly perfectly captured the beauty and grandeur of... Read More

The couple decided on a chic black and white color palette that allowed their florals to shine. They said “I Do” at the Monarch Beach Resort surrounded by friends and family and an array of beautiful blooms. We created overflowing waves of white roses, phalaenopsis orchids, and greenery with a grand chuppah for the ceremony. Moving in the reception, we used the same color scheme, adding tulips, white dendrobium orchids, and hyacinths inside the ballroom. Tall, glamorous centerpieces on round tables were mixed with charming low florals nestled below crystal candelabras on long mirror top tables. Heavy candlelight throughout the room added warmth and comfort to the atmosphere. Floral Design: Butterfly Floral and Event Design Planning: A Kate Carlson Event Photography: Dmitry Shumanev... Butterfly Foral and Event Design owner Inna Savluk personally creates her bride’s bouquets with great care. The bridal bouquet is arguably one of the most important aspects of the wedding design. First, it complements and highlights the wedding dress; second, it’s the only thing the bride holds as she walks down the aisle, making it the most noticeable accent to her dress; and third, they are often preserved as a keepsake to treasure forever. Below are some of our favorite bouquets from past weddings. Classic, Crisp White Often, brides want to stay traditional and have a white bouquet to align with their dress. This bouquet, below, features stunning peonies and roses with pops of texture for a soft yet structured... Read More
