MIssion Bay is a waterway in San Diego, a picturesque area perfect for weddings. Michelle and JR’s wedding ceremony was not only by this beautiful bay, thanks to the Hyatt Regency Mission Bay Spa And Marina – but their reception took place near another body of water: the pool area of a gorgeous private home! We complimented their venues with reflective clear features – like crystals hanging down an acrylic chuppah. We also wove in tons of white to create this light and airy wedding design. The ceremony featured the stunning chuppah, accented with not only lots of clear crystals, but a rich adornment of orchids along the top. Clear chiavari chairs perfectly complemented the acrylic chuppah. The reception featured... Read More

Calamigos Ranch offers a whimsical, pastoral venue for weddings. Jessika and Adrian married among the dreamy trees and hanging lights in the Pavilion ceremony space; then, guests partied among nearby carnival rides and under Calamigos’ elegant tent. Our round ceremony structure, decorated with white roses, served as a dramatic backdrop for the couple. The natural mix of white flowers and greenery continued through the cocktail hour and reception space. We dressed the fireplace mantel with lots of gorgeous flowers, and moved the ceremony backdrop to the reception space to add visual impact to the sweetheart table. For many weddings, the wedding chuppah is the first thing guests see and presents an opportunity to make a big impact with wedding design. Most importantly, the chuppah is an important symbol of Jewish weddings. We try to make every chuppah special and unique, and for Nicole and Mateen’s Saddlrock Ranch wedding, we created a large, lush structure to shelter the couple and their family during their wedding vows. Tree trunks supported the chuppah, and each corner held full greenery and flowers; the chuppah looked as if it were created by four trees. We collected white wildflowers at the base of each ‘tree’.’ Natural florals lined the white catwalk aisle for a cohesive, organic look. We added gold accents to... Read More

For their multicultural ceremony, Sasha and Aneesh asked for light, pretty colors mixed with vivid accents. We styled the existing pergola at Hummingbird Nest Ranch with garlands of hot pink florals for the mandap portion of the ceremony. We removed the hot pink garlands for the second ceremony, and kept the border of soft green and pink florals and greenery. In the reception space, we gave a fresh garden feel to the round tables with light pink roses interspersed with lush greenery, and for a special touch, vine winding down the stands holding the tall centerpieces. On long tables, we created ‘floating’ centerpieces of textural, classic arrangements on clear plastic bridge stands. Hanging bulbs with candles added to the magic... Read More

We love unexpected color combinations. For their elegant affair at the Langham Pasadena, Sarah and Matt wanted white florals and lots of greenery, but with pops of bright yellow and orange, too. We couldn’t wait to make this vibrant palette come to life. Sarah and Matt’s chuppah was one of the most unique we’ve ever created. We twined long strands of branches through drifts of fern and greenery, and added lots of white roses. Sprinkles of orange and yellow spray roses – spray roses are the smaller ‘cousins’ of standard-size roses – gave a cheerful vibrancy to the chuppah. In the ballroom, short and tall centerpieces featured the same base of loose greenery and and white flowers, with orange roses... Read More

When you have a stunning backdrop for your ceremony like the ocean view at Bel Air Bay Club, it’s all about highlighting the surroundings, not distracting from them. Danielle and Casey wanted a crisp, lush blend of white flowers and lots of greenery, a simple palette that let the ceremony space truly shine. We created a full, textural chuppah with lots of white roses and greenery – including ruscus and lemon leaf – atop a modern white stage. At cocktail hour, our photobooth backdrop and fountain featured more classic white roses and greenery for a consistent palette. In the ballroom, we added lovely light blush pink florals for more color and dimension to the overall look. This was the perfect... Read More

Yael and Coby’s Hummingbird Nest Ranch wedding took full advantage of the outdoor setting. A clear tent allowed guests to still see the starry sky at night, and the ceremony backdrop was a stunning view of the mountains. Wildflower aisle pieces and dreamy, airy white flowers and branches on the chuppah added to the classic but outdoorsy feel. We accented the white florals with blush candle sticks along the dining tables, which vibed perfectly with the gold dinnerware and blush glassware. Chiffon runners gently added a focal point to the tables as well. Ruscus greenery floated down from the top of tent, for a perfect final touch. Check out all the beauty below, in photos by M. For Mena and Cyrus’ winter wedding in Southern California, we ran with the foresty surroundings of Calamigos and decorated with tons of greenery – including above the sofreh and surrounding the welcome sign. Ivory roses everywhere provided a pretty and lush contrast, from the all-white bouquets of the bridesmaids to the classically simple centerpieces on the dining tables. We also provided florals and rose blooms for the beautiful sofreh. The seafoam bridesmaid dresses and linens wove seamlessly into the overall look. For Monica and Christopher’s wedding at the Broadmoor in Colorado, we draped nearly every surface with flowers, from the gates leading to the wedding aisle to the stunning chandelier in the Broadmoor’s ballroom. Outside, very light blush and ivory roses and flowers cascaded down the gates and arches of the ceremony. The soft colors aligned beautifully with the backdrop of the stunning hotel and mountain horizon. Down the aisle, white boxes with more blush and ivory roses flanked the bride as she walked towards the altar. The ballroom was completely draped and carpeted in white with blush lighting to create a dreamy, romantic space. We hung orchids off of every light feature in the room for a luxurious feel. Stunning... Read More

We love the crisp romanticism of an all-white wedding. Shabnam and Samer wanted every aspect of their affair at the Montage Laguna Beach to be modern yet lush. We created a nearly all-white design with little pops of fresh, springlike green. The ceremony sofreh featured tall centerpieces dripping with orchids. We flanked each side of the aisle with tall white wildflowers for a seamless look. Along with the clean white aisle and stage – plus stylish upholstered seats for the bride and groom – the overall look was perfection. At the reception, a beautiful arch with cherry blossoms and hanging crystals served as a photo-ready backdrop for the sweetheart table, itself draping with tons of flowers. The reception tables featured... Read More
