One of our specialties is creating lush overhead installations of florals. Usually, you need a ballroom ceiling to do that type of thing! But working with the right vendors, we can create such drama anywhere. In this case, we worked with Town & Country Event Rentals to accent Alexandra and Mattan’s dance floor at their venue, Hummingbird Nest Ranch. Town and Country created a framework of trussing for us so we could safely attach our florals, and the result was a stunning installation of white orchids with accents of greenery. We also lined the arches of the Ranch’s architecture with lush garlands of more greenery and classically beautiful white flowers. Our chuppah echoed this color scheme, too, a gorgeous showpiece... A chuppah is typically in the shape of four straight posts with a tallit shawl draped overhead. Among other things, the chuppah symbolizes the wedding couple’s new home that they will create together. This special meaning inspires us to be creative with our chuppahs. For Dorsa and Eliot’s wedding at the Four Seasons Westlake Village, we created gracefully curved branches instead of straight posts. We filled out the frame with lots of eucalyptus and greenery, sprinkled with fresh white flowers. Inside the ballroom, we kept things light and airy with more white florals and baby’s breath, as well as a mix of blush and pink arrangements for additional color. Gorgeous patterned lighting everywhere by Sky Lighting Productions gave additional dimension... Read More

Jewel tones bring a deep vibrancy to an event, an unexpected bold vibe. Flowers come in so many gem-like hues, that for Jamie and Rusty we had a ton of options to work with. We focused on pinks, reds, and purples, with accents of blush to keep the look from seeming too ‘heavy.’ The Oaks Room ceremony space at Calamigos Ranch features a natural-looking arch that we decorated with lots of pink, purple, and red flowers as well as greenery to impart a loose, organic feel. We also decorated a chuppah to stand underneath the arch, adding lots of greenery along the posts. In the reception, loads of flowers accented every space, including the fireplace, along the tables, and cascading... Read More

Cameron and Ander wanted soft but striking colors and textures for their Hummingbird Nest Wedding this past July, particularly peach and green. The ceremony featured a stunning garland bordering a vintage door, for a one-of-a-kind backdrop to their vows. Spiky protea mixed in with lush greenery and pretty roses added an unexpected pop of playfulness. Peach, sage green, and gold elements mixed with ornamental touches of fruit and antiqued wood pillar candle holders. Along with vintage-style cutlery and glassware and wood tables, their dinner reception felt like it took place on the grounds of a grand estate. Carondelet House is one of the most distinctive venues in Los Angeles. The building is a former residence of an architect – and it shows. Tons of unique details abound, from the rich brick walls to the warm wood beams overhead to the charming little courtyard in the middle of the space. It’s no surprise wedding couples flock to Carondelet House to celebrate their weddings. Donna and Michael wanted a rustic but artful design; we created an asymmetrical border of greenery and orchids for a stunning framework to their vows. The ceremony chairs, a blend of natural woods and styles, offered a lighter counterpoint to the dark greenery, for a perfect balance. We brought in more lightness to the reception... Read More

Bright florals and dreamy greenery made Brittany and Ethan’s Terranea wedding feel like a celebration amidst a field of wildflowers. Adding elegance to the rusticity were rented upholstered chairs, well-appointed tableware, and our beautifully composed wedding arch and centerpieces. And probably the most important detail: A sweet floral collar for the bride and groom’s dog! The colors of teal, blue, pink, blush, and sand were on display everywhere, from the bridal bouquet to the aisle decor. A white gate with lush florals greeted guests to the ceremony. Along the aisles were bursts of delphinium and greenery in pops of blue and pink. The existing pergola at Terranea, positioned directly in front of the ocean, was frosted with flowing branches of... A lakeside private estate, Kempa Villa, provided the romantic backdrop for this gorgeous wedding during a perfect March day in Palm Desert. A grand arch accented with pampas grass greeted guests as they arrived to the ceremony space. Two large urn pieces on rustic stone-like pedestals completed the look. A rainbow of colors lined the reception tables, from the teal glassware to the blue hydrangeas to the purple grapes dotting the tables. Oranges, corals, yellows and pinks completed the look. Branches of rosemary decorated each place setting, as well as added a rustic touch to the wedding cake. From the soft blush-tans of the ceremony to the bright spectrum of colors lining the reception tables, this wedding offered something a... Read More

Nico and Kennedy’s romantic wedding at the Fort Washington Country Club featured generous florals, elegant tabletop decor, and an airy ceremony space right on the golf course. We played with both rustic greens and browns and light, bright pinks and corals; earth tones provided a rich backdrop to the lighter colors. We used magnolia leaves in our designs as the backs of the leaves are a smooth medium brown, adding depth and dimension to the wedding arch, bridal bouquet, and centerpieces. Other tan and orange foliage and antique hydrangea added to the natural look. A wide runner of florals on either side of the ceremony aisle matched the lush arch, filled with antique and blush pink roses. Inside, tall centerpieces... Read More

The inspiration behind the design on Emily & Dylan’s special day came from the couple’s desire to have a rustic, yet whimsical and romantic feel. Given the natural beauty of Calamigos Ranch, it was simple. Blending soft floral notes of light pink and ivories with a variety of airy greens beautifully dressed up the already charming area. The couple exchanged their vows under a beautiful chuppah draped in delicate pink chiffon fabric, adorned with roses and lots of wild greens. Candle lanterns with floral bouquets lining the aisle, along with the on-property rock waterfall as the backdrop created a magical look. In the reception, our team continued the natural and romantic mood in each tablescape. Incredibly lush, low centerpieces designed... Read More

Pegah and Faraz’s gorgeous wedding was set at one the most classic California wedding venues – Hummingbird Nest Ranch. Taking place in the “Sitting Bull”, the space was dressed with soft pink shades and white blooms. Incorporating dark greens and branchy, wooden elements within the florals helped to evoke a romantic, rustic ambience while highlighting the existing beauty of the surroundings. The ceremony presented a true white runway that led to a grand chuppah, bursting with white roses, blooming branches and greenery galore. Lush, statement arrangements in old-world ceramic urns marked the entrance to the ceremony. For the open-air reception, textured light linens were paired with wooden tables and vineyard chairs to feed both the romantic and rustic mood. The... Read More
