Bright and Beautiful Estate Wedding

October 7, 2021 4:43 pm

Mother nature gives us so many hues to play with, and our clients Sanam and Yoav wanted a bold play of colors for their big day. Their wedding took place at a private home, giving us even more freedom to design a one-of-a-kind wedding.  The ceremony and reception were located in the same area to conserve space; we needed a stunning chuppah to serve as a focal point, and designed a gorgeous arch with thick greenery and coral, peach, and pink roses. A rustic aesthetic influenced the rest of the centerpieces, with sprays of greenery and foliage. Roses, hydrangea, lisianthus, even daisies and touches of fruit made appearances in an array of shades from bright yellow to red to blue. ... Read More

Whimsical Wedding at Hummingbird Nest Ranch

July 21, 2020 5:29 pm

Elegant, romantic, and effortless with a touch of whimsy is the perfect description for Stephanie and Igal’s outdoor wedding. The bride and groom tied the knot under an ethereal chuppah adorned with garden roses and lisianthus, touches of curly willow and bountiful greens against the picturesque mountain backdrop at Hummingbird Nest Ranch. A raised catwalk completely lined with tall, white delphiniums and low greenery created a gorgeous walkway between the stunning chuppah and tall entrance arch that framed the front of the aisle. Adding even more detail and excitement, a custom water fountain was designed among the textured greenery at the base of the arch. Once guests made their final move of the evening into the tented reception space, they... Read More

Chic White Wedding

June 19, 2020 9:45 pm

The chic and romantic reception vibe was created using an all white design approach. We created stunning tall centerpieces complimented by lower arrangements on neighboring tables to add dimension and variety to the ballroom. Mirror-surfaced tables, crystal candelabras, and glass vases paired with gold accents on chargers and candle holders completed the glamorous vibe. Through florals, we echoed this look using beautiful white roses with premium orchids, using both phalaenopsis and dendrobium. Earlier during a sea-view ceremony, on the contrast, we combined the wooden texture of the pergola and chairs with organically styled blooms, branchy detailing, and greenery. The design elements gave a warm and earthy feel to the already beautiful beach backdrop. Don’t miss out on all of the... Read More

If ever there were a perfect example of a romantic and glamorous wedding, this affair would be it. Using a floral color palette of clean whites and soft greens, along with mixed accents of clear, gold, and silver, the setting was both polished and stylish. Baby breaths, orchids, and roses adorned the stunning chuppah that graced the stage of the grand ballroom. Across the room, guests were greeted by clouds of flowers that embellished the stairs at the entrance. Elegance exuded from the phalaenopsis orchids and long stem roses hanging from luxurious centerpieces throughout the space. Pillar candles secured on top of the long floral bridges added a hint of magic. Katie Beverly perfectly captured the beauty and grandeur of... Read More

Whimsical Black and White Wedding at Monarch Beach Resort

May 30, 2020 11:29 pm

The couple decided on a chic black and white color palette that allowed their florals to shine. They said “I Do” at the Monarch Beach Resort surrounded by friends and family and an array of beautiful blooms. We created overflowing waves of white roses, phalaenopsis orchids, and greenery with a grand chuppah for the ceremony. Moving in the reception, we used the same color scheme, adding tulips, white dendrobium orchids, and hyacinths inside the ballroom. Tall, glamorous centerpieces on round tables were mixed with charming low florals nestled below crystal candelabras on long mirror top tables. Heavy candlelight throughout the room added warmth and comfort to the atmosphere.  Floral Design: Butterfly Floral and Event Design Planning: A Kate Carlson Event Photography: Dmitry Shumanev... Real Wedding: Tented Elegance at Hummingbird Nest Wedding

May 4, 2019 2:13 am

It takes so many details to design a stunning, one-of-a-kind wedding. For this luxurious Hummingbird Nest Ranch wedding at their Villa location, every aspect of the decor had to contribute to a rich, vibrant palette, from the deep red roses all around the portico at the ceremony to the swags of purple along the tent. In the ceremony area, we surrounded the existing portico with lush greenery and roses, with an aisle border to match. For the reception tables, we designed collections of compotes filled with red roses, and tapered red candles, and mercury votives. Purple napkins, gold rimmed chargers, and dove gray linens completed the look. And of course, we filled the beautiful fountain in front of the Villa... Read More

Real Wedding: Sumptuous Greenery at Four Seasons Westlake Village

February 14, 2019 3:37 pm

Who doesn’t love greenery? When the rustic trend came upon the wedding world a few years ago, it thrilled designers and florists everywhere. Greenery can be used to add lush depth and dimension to wedding floral design. For this sumptuous wedding at the Four Seasons Westlake Village, we used tons (well, not literally – but close!) of pepper tree, eucalyptus, and other foliage to create a dreamy look for our couple. Lin and Jirsa captured it all on camera, and Maryam Forutan, owner of Delicate Details, helped ensure all elements of this amazing wedding came together beautifully. A Chuppah with Greenery and White Flowers The centerpiece of the wedding ceremony was this chuppah, overflowing with greenery, amaranthus, and white and... Read More
